Alyssa is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with over 15 years of experience in providing quality care to patients with complex cardiac care needs. Before joining Tri-City Cardiology Consultants in 2020, she worked as a nurse practitioner with a private cardiology practice for over 2 years, with emphasis in electrophysiology. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse for Honor Health, caring for cardiac patients in the Telemetry Care Unit and Outpatient Diagnostic Care Unit.
Alyssa graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 2007. She continued her education at Arizona State University where she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in 2017. Her doctoral project focused on atrial fibrillation and modifiable risk factors. She holds certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
