Cheryl Meyer has extensive experience in the medical field, having worked for several years as a Registered Nurse before obtaining her certification as a Nurse Practitioner.  Cheryl’s list of credentials reflects her commitment to excellence, which includes Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

Throughout Cheryl’s tenure as a registered nurse at University of Michigan Health-West Spectrum Health Blodgett, and Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospitals in West Michigan, she consistently provided exceptional patient care in progressive care units and emergency departments.  She has shown proficiency in conducting comprehensive health histories, interpreting diagnostic studies, initiating intravenous therapy, and supporting patients and families through critical medical situations.  Cheryl received 12 nominations for the esteemed Daisy Award, recognizing the quality patient care she provided and serving as a testament to her unwavering commitment and valuable contributions to the field.

Cheryl understands the importance of providing quality care and strives to create positive relationships with patients while ensuring they receive the best possible treatment.  When asked why she chose to work in cardiology, she replied, “heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S.  My passion lies in contributing to the betterment of society and serving others, so I thought cardiology made sense.  My goal at Tri-City Cardiology Consultants is to provide excellent care and ensure that patients feel heard and respected throughout their journey toward improved health and a better quality of life.”
