Michael is a certified Physician Assistant with over 7 years of experience. Prior to joining Tri-City Cardiology Consultants in 2020, Michael worked in a rural family medicine and urgent care clinic where he treated a wide variety of medical issues including diabetes, hypertension, autoimmune diseases, thyroid disorders, and psychiatric conditions all which effect the cardiovascular system. Prior to becoming a PA, Michael worked as a nutritionist educating patients on diet and exercise and the crucial role nutrition plays in their health. He continues to provide nutritional guidance to his cardiac patients.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Arizona State University and received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Oregon. He is a current member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American College of Cardiology.
Michael strives to provide exceptional, evidence based, timely care to his patients. As a Physician Assistant he enjoys the ability to spend time educating patients on their condition so that they feel included in the treatment plan. He frequently participates in continuing medical education to be up to date on the latest cardiac and general medicine information.
Born and raised in Arizona, you will frequently find Michael enjoying time outdoors with his wife and two young kids camping, fishing, hiking and kayaking on the Mogollon rim. He enjoys coaching his son’s soccer team and volunteering with local non-profit organizations.
