Meet Stephanie A. Kilborn

Stephanie A. Kilborn is an experienced Registered Nurse with over a decade of diverse clinical, leadership, and ambulatory care expertise. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Grand Canyon University, where she completed 600+ hours of advanced clinical practicum across primary care, cardiology, adult health, and pediatrics. Her training includes extensive hands-on experience in chronic disease management, preventive care, wellness screenings, diagnostic interpretation, women’s health, and comprehensive patient education for individuals across the lifespan.

Stephanie’s clinical background spans multiple settings, including Tri-City Cardiology in Mesa, Banner Health, Department of Defense/Evans Army Community Hospital, and Southwest Medical Associates. She has developed strong competencies in cardiac care, radiologic exam support, conscious sedation, acute ambulatory care, and complex patient assessments. Her prior leadership roles include serving as a Clinical Supervisor and preceptor, where she trained medical assistants and new graduate nurses, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Throughout her career, Stephanie has been actively involved in nursing committees and specialty groups, including wound care, sepsis rapid response, pulmonary complication prevention, ultrasound IV teams, and diabetes education initiatives. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurses Association, and the Arizona Nurses Association, and has been recognized with multiple academic honors throughout her education.
