Courtney is a board-certified adult-gerontologic acute care nurse practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience in nursing in critical care, the intensive care unit, oncology, perioperative, and nursing education. Before joining Tri-City Cardiology Consultants, she worked as an emergency room nurse at a level 1 trauma center.
Courtney received her associates degree in nursing at Northern New Mexico Community college in 1999, then graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2008. She continued her education at Grand Canyon University in pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing, Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
She has professional associations with the American Nurses Association (ANA) and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). She holds certifications in Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
