Jodie is a board- certified, highly skilled, and experienced nurse practitioner with over 17 years in the practice, with experience in heart rhythm management and general cardiovascular medicine. Jodie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from Arizona State University. Jodie has professional affiliations with the American Nurses Association, Arizona Nurses Association and is certified in Advanced Life Support. She received a student scholarship from the Arizona Nurse Practitioner Council in 2004 and was honored through the Nursing Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau, Beta Upsilon Chapter in 2005. Jodie’s background as a registered nurse (RN) includes cardiology and the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She also worked in multiple areas in acute care, including, hematology/oncology, general medical and surgical with 17 years of nursing experience prior to earning her master’s degree. As a nurse practitioner, Jodie’s primary focus has been in clinical heart rhythm management and heart failure. She joined Tri-City Cardiology Consultants in 2005. Jodie is committed to providing the best care possible to her patients and believes the time spent reviewing the care plan and teaching patients about their medical condition is very valuable to improving patient outcomes. Her philosophy of quality care includes listening to her patients concerns, interacting with them to establish a trusting provider relationship, and working with them to improve their cardiovascular health.
