Kim is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-ANCC) with over 16 years of experience in the healthcare field. Kim received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pittsburg State University in 2003 and went on to receive a Master’s of Science in Nursing in 2007, where she graduated with honors.
Kim’s background as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) focused primarily on patients in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), and the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). She also treated and cared for patients in long-term care facilities, providing primary care services. Prior to joining Tri-City Cardiology, she worked with Truman Medical Center managing the growth of the facilities Cardiac Device Clinic.
Kim has always had a passion for Cardiology and the geriatric population, her goal is to advocate for her patients in all stages of life and provide the type of care that they desire at the stage that they are in at the moment. Whether that be aggressive or more comfort/palliative care, and realizing that goals change as diseases progress.
Kim and her husband have 3 beautiful children and enjoys hiking and chauffeuring them to their activities.
