Dr. Ravinder (Ravi) S. Kahlon is a board-certified interventional cardiologist specializing in coronary, peripheral, and structural heart interventions. With extensive experience in high-volume and high-risk interventional procedures, including percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), peripheral vascular interventions (carotid artery stenting, subclavian artery disease, supra- and infra-inguinal peripheral artery disease including below the knee interventions), and valvular/structural heart disease (transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), MitraClip, ASD/PFO closure, and left atrial appendage occlusion device placement including Watchman and Amulet), Dr. Kahlon is dedicated to advancing patient outcomes through innovative, minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Kahlon completed his medical degree at Boston University School of Medicine, where he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Gold Humanism in Medicine Award. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, he earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and History with concentrations in Chemistry and Biotechnology from California State University, Fullerton.
Dr Kahlon completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency at Cedars Sinai/ UCLA Medical Center. His advanced training includes a Cardiology Fellowship at University of California-Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA, Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Arizona-Phoenix Banner University Medical Center, where he served as Chief Fellow, a Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship at Brown University Warren Alpert School of Medicine in Providence, RI, and a Structural Heart Disease Fellowship at Swedish Medical Center’s Heart and Vascular Institute in Seattle, WA. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Vascular Imaging.
A dedicated researcher and educator, Dr. Kahlon has contributed extensively to peer-reviewed medical literature, authoring publications in leading journals such as the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, The Journal of the American Heart Association (JAHA), and Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions (CCI). He is an active fellow of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Society of Vascular Medicine (SVM), and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI), where he has presented at national conferences and served in leadership roles.
