Sadikshya Silwal, DNP, FNP-C, BSN, CCRN, is a dedicated and accomplished nurse with over nine years of experience in critical care and cardiac nursing. After completing her Bachelor in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2014, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Arizona State University, where she specialized in Family Nurse Practitioner and received the Outstanding DNP Scholar Award.
Sadikshya has also been serving in the Army Reserves since 2015, and in her role as a Captain/ICU Nurse, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and mentoring for service members and maintains unit readiness and standards. She has completed numerous leadership courses and training programs, enhancing her skills in various military and clinical settings.
Fluent in multiple languages, Sadikshya excels in diverse healthcare environments, providing compassionate and high-quality patient care. She strongly believes in advocating for her patients, ensuring they are equal partners in their care, fully educating them about their disease process and treatment plan to ensure their full understanding, and promoting shared decision-making. She is also actively involved in professional organizations and community service, underscoring her commitment to continuous learning and service.
Throughout her career, Sadikshya has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including the Ella G. Burkhart Endowed Scholarship, Rosemary Johnson Scholarship, made the Commandant’s List as the only female during the Army Direct Commission Course, and multiple other Army commendations.
Although born and raised in Nepal, Sadikshya “grew up” as a nurse in Phoenix, Arizona, which she has been calling home since 2010. Being surrounded by mountains now, she has grown to love hiking and is an avid hiker, even during the summer, loves traveling, reading books, and is slightly addicted to indoor plants.
