Sophia is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with extensive nursing experience in the cardiac cath lab and telemetry unit specializing in cardiac patients. Before joining Tri-City Cardiology Consultants, she worked with Banner Desert Medical Center.
Sophia received her associates degree in nursing at Scottsdale Community College, then graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner and Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and holds certifications in Basic Life Support, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Sophia is dedicated to individualized patient care, focusing on successful patient on successful patient outcomes. Her inclination toward educating patients and their families stems from her enthusiasm for involving patients in their own care. She strives to deliver excellent healthcare through her knowledge, compassion, and willingness to serve.
