Stephanie Flores is an Adult Geriatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) with over 6 years of experience in the healthcare field. Stephanie’s nursing background as a Registered Nurse (RN), focused primarily on acutely ill patients in the hospital setting. Prior to joining Tri-City Cardiology, Stephanie worked at the Banner Medical Centers and Banner Heart in the progressive care units on a rotating basis.
Stephanie graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in 2014. She decided to further her career and attended Grand Canyon University’s Adult Gerontology-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program (AG-ACNP) graduating in 2019 with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is certified through the Arizona State Board of Nursing and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Stephanie is excited to further her career at Tri-City Cardiology and is looking forward to providing the best care possible to patients. Her philosophy of care includes advocating for each patient, listening to their concerns and utilizing a shared decision-making approach between patient and provider to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient satisfaction. Stephanie is passionate about ensuring each patient understands their medical condition, will review the treatment plan, and spend the amount of time needed to educate patients so informed decisions about their cardiovascular health can be made.
She was born and raised in Arizona and currently resides in Mesa, AZ to remain close to her family. In her time off, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her friends and family; especially her son, being active outdoors, exercising, scuba diving, traveling, and furthering her education.
